My “New” Play Toy!

1964 Sewing Machine

My grandmother that taught me how to sew ever since I was 5 years old, just surprised me with her 1964 white Featherweight Singer sewing machine that was given to her by an “uncle” after a relative passed way years ago!  She never used it, so she gave it to ME!!! YAY!  I am so happy, I cannot wait to use it and it is in such good condition! I am getting ready to sew an apron, but want to wait till I can use my new toy! :)

Well I just thought I would share my excitement with you all!

Blessings,

Antoinette

  7. Hello Antoinette!

First of all, let me say what a beautiful name you have! I’m sure people tell you that all the time, but it really is lovely!

Secondly, what a lovely blog you have!! I’m always on the look-out for new blogs and new friends that share my thoughts and views on things.

Thirdly, I plan on checking into your products! Our family buys almost all of our products organically, however, you are right – they get expensive.

  8. I’m sooo happy for you Annie! But you still have to teach me how to make those skirts!

    Sarah :)

  9. Ahh… very nice. I’m really happy for you.
I also got a very old sewing maching, it’s still one of those that you have to turn, it doesn’t work with electricity.
I haven’t even had time to use, I want to get it looked at though to see that it’s still in good condition.
    Take care.

  10. A very nice and what a treasure! : )
