The S.O.S Conference!!!

My family and I got back Sunday afternoon from a 5 day stay in OH/KY (we were right next to the border) for the Sufficiency of Scripture conference and had such a wonderful time! :)   We met up with dear friends, met new ones and even ones I have met over the internet ! :)   What a blessing to hear those wonderful speakers as well, and I left with more knowledge about how important it truly is to apply scripture to our lives and how it effects EVERYTHING that we say, do, and act, that it all would be glorifying to Jesus Christ our Lord!  We also had a memory verse for the 3 days :

“And how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.  All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching,  for reproof, for correction, and training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

~ 2 Timothy 3:15-17

All of the talks were so good, but I would be writing a VERY long post if I shared everything I learned, but I would encourage all of you to purchase the CD’s when they become available at Vision Forum or Blue Behemoth!

On Wednesday we went to the Creation Museum and it was wonderful, I got quite a few photos both there at the museum, and at the conference (I also took a few in the airplane on the way home! ;)

Here are some of the photos, and you can you can find more over at my photography blog as well at : Practical Simplicity Photography!

*Do not look at the Creation Museum photos if you wish to go and experience it all for the first time if you have not been yet (I know I did), so I am just letting you know ahead of time! :)

  7. My family was also very blessed to be able to attend the SOS conference! I was thrilled to meet the Marie Madeline girls. (Actually we ‘ran’ into your family on the second floor of the dinosaur area at the Creation Museum.)
Allison, my sister, (the one with the big camera) was able to find your blog through Lindsay.

I hope to continue reading it!
